Home Help in Rural Michigan: Get Paid to Care for Your Family

In rural Michigan, the nearest home care agency can be an hour away, and hiring outside help often isn't realistic. So families step in: a daughter checks on her dad every morning, a grandson drives over to help with meals and medications. Michigan's Home Help program can pay you for that care. Genesis Care Network serves families in every county from our one office in Okemos, including mid-Michigan farm towns, the Thumb and the Upper Peninsula.

Do You Qualify?

You may qualify if you can say yes to these:

  • My loved one has full Michigan Medicaid (or I'd like help understanding how to apply)

  • They need hands-on help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, meals or medications

  • They live in Michigan, in their own home or a family home (not a nursing home)

  • I'm 18 or older and can pass a background check

  • I'm not their spouse, and they're not my child under 18

Not sure about one? Apply anyway. We'll help you figure it out.

No. You provide care in their home.
